Page 6, completed. I decided to really push myself towards a more noir style (which had been my intention from the beginning until I realized I was terrified of shadows). I'm going to have to go back when all is said and done to add more shadows to earlier pages, but I think it's worth it.
just one tip- if this is taking place on vashon island it wouldn't be seattle police- king county sheriff contracts over there and it would be all deputy's. several of the smaller burbs and cities contract out through king county- i can check- they may have gear that says vashon (i know burien has their own cars even though it's deputy's)- not sure if vashon is the same.
ReplyDeleteCrap. I may let it slide for universal recognition. Having King county would be a nice detail for Washingtonians, but I think your average reader elsewhere might be thrown off. Plus, it's important that the detectives be Seattle P.D.
ReplyDeleteit would all be sheriff...just checked. the cars just say sheriff on both doors...king county on the badges...i believe (crap...i should have checked while i had him on the phone) i believe vests/jackets just say police or sheriff
